Cyber Security Engineer
We are currently seeking a Cyber Security Engineer for a 6-month contract who has 3-5 years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in cybersecurity, incident response, or security operations. Responsibilities Ability to effectively and efficiently resolve escalated security-related incidents and support requests. Provide support to staff members in the use of security products and processes. Assist security engineers in research activities, including reviewing CVEs, forums, and identifying affected systems. Identify opportunities from incident learnings to create playbooks and coordinate teams to produce content. Manage and document operational security, including risk and compliance issues. Contribute to and promote organizational security policies, standards, and guidelines. Develop and maintain operational and technical security documentation. Implement end-to-end cybersecurity monitoring across on-premises and cloud environments. Perform penetration testing to ensure the company's networks are free of vulnerabilities exploited by malware authors. Actively monitor security forums and advisories and report impacts to TCC. Source and implement new security solutions to enhance organizational protection. Design, implement, and maintain security architecture, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of security infrastructure. Produce reports to support security operations and governance, interpret reports generated from monitoring and auditing tools, and make recommendations based on information produced through reporting.
